  13. well in Germany many if not all US Modems shoould work but strictly using
  14. an non approved modem is illegal ( German telecom is still in the process
  15. of privatization ) on the other hand if it works usually nobody is
  16. interested. As far as I know Telecom Techsupport has an internal order not
  17. to bother unless somebody else is disturbed )
  18. Adapters for the lines are freely avaliable.
